- Birth: Feeding evaluation & Instructions
- 1st week of life: NAM therapy begins
- 3-4 months of age: Lip repair & ENT consultation
- 9-11 months of age: Palate repair
- 2 years: Begin yearly speech evaluations
- 4 years: Determine if pharyngeal flap or pharyngoplasty indicated (about 15%)
- 7 Years: Begin orthodontic preparation for alveolar bone graft if needed
- 8 years: Alveolar bone graft, if needed
- 12-14 years: Final orthodontic therapy
- Growth complete, usually 15 to 16 in girls and 17 to 18 in boys: Upper jaw advancement (leFort 1) if necessary, final lip and nasal work.
